ONGOING PROGRAMS

The CWBA Foundation provides an annual scholarship to a law student at both the University of Colorado School of Law and the University of Denver Sturm College of Law who best exemplifies our mission. Previously, the scholarship was $2,500 per year. However, for the five-year period 2016 through 2020, the scholarship amount may vary year to year as we fund an endowed scholarship. For years 2021 and beyond, it is our goal to fund each scholarship at a $5,000 level or above. PAST EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES

The CWBA Foundation has also funded studies on the wage gap between female and male lawyers in Colorado, co-funded a national study about part-time partnership positions, and much more. Often, the programs funded by the CWBA Foundation are the programs that are put on by the CWBA itself. For example, the CWBA Foundation funded the CWBA’s successful program, Storming the Bench.
