SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS
The CWBA Foundation provides an annual scholarship to a law student at both the University of Colorado School of Law and the University of Denver Sturm College of Law who best exemplifies our mission. Previously, the scholarship was $2,500 per year. However, for the five-year period 2016 through 2020, the scholarship amount may vary year to year as we fund an endowed scholarship at each law school. For years 2021 and beyond, it is our goal to fund each scholarship at a $5,000 level or above.
Scholarship Requirements - University of Denver Sturm College of Law:
The Scholarship will be awarded to female J.D. students in their second or third year who have demonstrated financial need and are current members of the Colorado Women's Bar Association (CWBA). Consideration is also given to the extent to which the applicant has demonstrated a commitment to the mission of the Colorado Women's Bar Association Foundation: promoting the advancement of women in the law, and protecting and promoting the welfare of all women.
