SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS
The CWBA Foundation provides an annual scholarship to law students at the University of Colorado School of Law and the University of Denver Sturm College of Law who best exemplifies our mission. It is our goal to fund each scholarship at $5,000 or above.
The CWBA Foundation has also partnered with the Community College of Denver Foundation on a Paralegal Scholarship Fund. This annual scholarship awards $1,500 to a female paralegal student committed to the same goals supported by the CWBA Foundation.
Scholarship Requirements - University of Denver Sturm College of Law:
The Scholarship will be awarded to J.D. students in their second or third year who have demonstrated financial need and are current members of the Colorado Women's Bar Association (CWBA). Consideration is also given to the extent to which the applicant has demonstrated a commitment to the mission of the Colorado Women's Bar Association Foundation: promoting the advancement of women in the law and protecting and promoting the welfare of all women.
Scholarship Requirements - University of Colorado School of Law:
The Scholarship provides an award to a second- or third-year student who is an active member in the Colorado Women's Bar Association (CWBA), demonstrates financial need, and shows active interest in the CWBA’s mission.
Scholarship Requirements - Community College of Denver:
The Scholarship provides an award to a female paralegal student who demonstrates financial need and has completed more than 36 credit hours or 3 semesters of the paralegal program at CCD.
Past Scholarship Recipients:
